They called this a "line cliche" back at Berklee College of Music, because of the bass line (C B Bb Ab G). These kinds of chord progression were huge in the 70's, from Hotel California to Stairway to Heaven. This one is a little different because it goes to b6 (Ab) instead of 6 (A) - I was thinking about an Elton John tune when I made this... Anyway, shred on C minor pentatonic all day! Hit that G7 with some harmonic or melodic minor if you're a badass. Enjoy and thanks for subscribing!

Stellar production quality. Pristine Sounds. I need new avenues to explore musically and EJT provides this for me to explore. The tracks are also challenging for me to solo over and provide teaching/learning opportunities. I also support EJT because they give away so much free material on YouTube. They deserve support. chinasaur
