A minor pentatonic works great over this whole thing. You can stop reading here if you want, BUT this chord progression does start with a big fat A major chord! To play over this, just follow the 3rd of the A chord. The C# in the A becomes C natural in Am. There's no reason to change any other note! The scale for the A major chord is A Aeolian Dominant (some call it Mixolydian b6, or the Hindu scale). Do not be intimidated! It's just a minor scale with a natural 3rd. ALSO, you can raise the 3rd on the minor pentatonic scale, which sounds extra cool!

Stellar production quality. Pristine Sounds. I need new avenues to explore musically and EJT provides this for me to explore. The tracks are also challenging for me to solo over and provide teaching/learning opportunities. I also support EJT because they give away so much free material on YouTube. They deserve support. chinasaur
