The chords are weird, but it's deceptively easy to play over. Am G and F are straight from the Aeolian mode, and you can consider the Eb a passing chord into the D (which comes from A Dorian). The Eb chord gives you a great chance to show everyone you know where the b5 blues note is. For a really exotic sound, you can use an A Locrian #6 scale (second mode of the G harmonic minor) for that part.
